hpu Chandelier Hoist

High Point University came to us for help fixing an old finicky hoist that was supporting the chandelier in their theater. We were able to use our rigging expertise and a new soft starting ETC hoist to motorize the chandelier and make the whole system more reliable and repeatable. The project involved 3d scanning to plan the routing of the hoist cables. This was done to keep the motor and controls in the air conditioned space of the fly loft and not in the dome structure.
